I have a beautiful rattan desk and chair that I purchased at a flea market for only $45.00.

It is in wonderful condition, excellent actually and came with a glass covering for the top of the desk which is rolls of rattan, therefore requiring the glass to enable you to use the top for writing, etc.

When I saw the desk I just couldn’t take my eyes off of it but thought Oh well, I probably cannot afford it.

A little later I went back and looked at it again and thought I just have to have it. When I looked at the price tag, I wasn’t sure that it was saying 45.00 or 450.00.

Finally after admiring it for awhile I decided to ask the person who was selling it what the price was and was told that it was there on commission and that he thought the price was $45.00.

I was so excited and purchased the desk and chair immediately. I often wonder if it was really supposed to be $450.00.

It is a beautiful addition to my living room. I have recovered the seat on the chair but other than that it looks brand new.

I will certainly keep my eye out for more rattan to match my lovely desk and chair.
