Mostly we look for price and style in our living room
My living room is about 10ft by 8ft so it’s a fairly large room. It also has a work station since I work from home with a computer and extra phone.
The computer desk is a large desk with a hutch with a glass door and 3 shelves along the side and top.
The whole piece is about 4ft by 3ft. The other furniture in the room is two tan colored chair and a half’s and a love seat also in tan color.
We also have a dark brown wood with iron coffee table that has 3 baskets under it and two light colored end tables.
We also have a console TV, a stereo system, a large and small book shelf, and a shoe rack.
We don’t chose by brand although if we run across a brand with a good price we will purchase it. Mostly we look for price and style.
If you have a small space I’d keep your furniture small in size with fewer pieces. For larger spaces make the best of it and still leave room for other activities.
We are able to use our room for sleepovers and gaming because both my kids and husband play video games and we have enough room to sit two gaming chairs for them to do that.
Most of the time our family is in the living room so I don’t really feel that anyone dislikes it. My kids like to drag the dining room chairs out and build tents with them.
It’s fun for them to sit inside and watch the TV from and feel like they are really camping.
