My dining room has been furbished from the IKEA catalog.

It is primarily light beech in color, with blue covers on the six chairs.

The Beech effect table is large enough to accommodate 8 diners in comfort, and can be expanded to accommodate 10.

I chose the furniture from IKEA as the store is a short walk from my apartment and the price was particularly agreeable.

In the future, I would hope to purchase a higher quality furniture range from a more upmarket department store, for example, John Lewis.

I also fancy making the change to dark woods.

Funnily, I split red wine on my kitchen table last week and was able to remove the stain using white wine!

The switch to dark woods might help in this regard.
