My outdoor furniture consists of two sets – patio and teak
In my house, I have an atrium and a sunroom. I like to have a small patio set in the atrium, and a larger table and chair set in the sunroom.
The patio set consists of a small round table (approximately 4′ in diameter) made of a dark walnut wood, as well as two matching chairs.
The set in the sunroom consists of a teak rectangular table (approximately 6′x8′) surrounded by six matching chairs. Both sets are similar to what can be found at IKEA, but higher quality.
These have been durable throughout years and years of abuse from rain, sun, and children. These sets are constantly getting compliments, as they are fitting for the Californian coastal living vibe that is emulated from my interior decorations.
To make my decorations seasonal, I tend to choose colors that agree with the seasons.
For example, in the springtime, I put out flowers that are bright and colorful. During the summer, I put out bright whites to bring a relaxed, summer feel. For autumn, I accent with natural golds, reds, and oranges. Read more »
